Foro Penal sobre la detención arbitraria en Venezuela del abogado argentino German Giuliani
El abogado argentino 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺á𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗿í𝗼 𝗚𝗶𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗶,especialista en derecho penal laboral, fue detenido arbitrariamente el 22 de mayo de 2025 en Venezuela por fuerzas de seguridad del Estado.

The Argentine lawyer Germán Darío Giuliani, a specialist in labor criminal law, was arbitrarily detained on May 22, 2025, in Venezuela by state security forces.
According to information published by Infobae, days before his detention, Giuliani had shared images of a restaurant in the state of Anzoátegui (May 5) and a video recorded in front of the Jaque Mate clinic, also in Anzoátegui (April 23) on social media.
After his arrest, he remained for 12 days in a state of forced disappearance, with his family unaware of his whereabouts or receiving official information about his situation. On June 4, 2025, he managed to communicate by phone with his relatives, informing them that he was deprived of liberty in the Antidrugs Command Las Acacias of the Bolivarian National Guard.
To date, the charges against Germán Giuliani are unknown, as well as the conditions of his detention and the status of his judicial process, which seriously violates his rights to due process and defense.
Political prisoners should not be treated as bargaining chips.
