Венесуэла и Мексика обсудили повестку дня в области науки, технологий и образования

The Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, met this Wednesday with the Mexican ambassador to Venezuela, Leopoldo de Gyvés, in order to review the bilateral cooperation agenda in the scientific, technological and academic fields.
"We are evaluating the schedule to receive students from Mexico in May of this year, who will join the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán, in compliance with the commitments acquired during our visit to the city of Morelos in 2025," Jiménez indicated through his Telegram channel.
The meeting also discussed the participation of Venezuelan scientists specializing in information security and quantum computing in a seminar planned for March 2026.
Additionally, the minister explained that strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity with Mexico's Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency (ATDT) was another key point discussed at the meeting.
"Together with the acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, and following the directives of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, we continue to strengthen cooperation with sister nations for the scientific and technological development of our country," the minister concluded.
