According to the commission, priority projects include the reconstruction of retaining walls along the rivers in Camaguán and Puerto Miranda to prevent future flooding, the repair of 11 kilometers of road in the Local 10-Y section of Guayabal, improvements to the Uverito-Caño El Diablo road and the T002-La Negra bypass, as well as work on the San Bartolo bridge (Guayabal) and the replacement of the sewer system in the Médano Alto sector of Cazorla.

In this regard, Major General Jorge Márquez confirmed that these actions are part of the Bolivarian Government's ongoing policies, focused on prioritizing the necessary improvements to guarantee the well-being of the population during the winter season.

"Our commitment is to rebuild, together with the people and local authorities, every space affected by the rains," Márquez emphasized.

During the day, the authorities evaluated the work carried out last year after the climatic effects, highlighting the construction of the Camaguán-La Negra road bypass, a large-scale project that allowed the restoration of communication between Guárico, Apure, Amazonas, Barinas and Bolívar, while work continues on Trunk Road 2, which suffered damage due to water pressure.
